  1. Can someone clarify for me . I have the TS2 driver and 3 wood ( 917 previously ) The standard weight in the TS2 driver is 9 gr. In my old 917 I had a 12gr does that mean I need to add 4gr to get the same feel. I ask because my spin rate has gone from 2400 to 2900 Does adding weight bring down my spin rate ..... All things being equal

The clubheads and shafts are a different weight. If you're looking for the same feel start with a swingweight scale.
  3. If you want two clubs to feel the same, they need to have identical Mass and MOI. Your Driver and your SW of the same swingweight do not feel the same, proving that swingweight is nonsense.
Not sure why you want your clubs to feel the same. You should aim for being able to apply the same swing to all your club. You can have that done on www.rational-golf.com.

Please, correct me if I am wrong. But I thought that spin rate had to due to launch angle and swing speed of the club head. My fitter set my driver 10.50 to 11.25 and my spin is 2200. I am not one that is big into all these numbers and stats. All I know is he set it up right for me in 2016 (917D2) and at 74+ it more than serves it's purpose.

Adjusting the weight by itself won’t change the spin. If it changes your tempo and your point of contact on the face, the spin rate will change.
  6. Thx for the info
