    Hey Team Titleist!


    From the early stages of computer generated models, to robot testing, to putting it in the hands of dedicated golfers, TSR has been engineered to be both our fastest driver through the air, and best performing driver ever produced at Titleist. 


    How did the team do this? It started with a greater investment in aerodynamics knowing it was one of the most essential ways to improve clubhead speed. One of the standout enhancements contributing to the speed gains is the new ‘boat tail’ shape that houses the swing weight, moving one more element of drag off the club sole.


    And you don't have to just take my word on TSR, we're bringing in the experts again, and it'd be tough to find someone more qualified than Principal Research Engineer Steve Ogg. Steve provides a comprehensive breakdown below into the speed you feel every time you swing a TSR.

    Thanks for the invitation to comment. I switched to the TSR3 (Graphic Design Tour AD IZ-5) this past week (thank you, Golfdom in McLean). After being able to play two rounds and spending time on the range, my initial impression is that the driver is remarkable. It sets up nicely to the eye and seems to take much less effort to drive the ball both further and straighter....for real. The dispersion is tight, and I love the sound. I hope that many in our TT community take the opportunity to give it a try. And while I thought that was the last change to the bag for this year, somehow, a TSR2 seven-wood jumped into my cart. Friends.....that stick will put a smile on your face!

    Thanks for the invitation to comment. I was offered a fitting at Pine Island Country Club through Team Titleist. I was fitted with a TSR2 10 degree loft, coming from a TSI3 9 degree. The fitter recommended the Tensei AV XLink shaft in R flex 1/2 inch shorter than standard. i had been hitting a Tensei S. He added 2g weight. I have noticed about a 10 yard increase in distance and my dispersion is very tight. The forgiveness on mishits is amazing. This fitting was my first, and I will never buy another driver without being fitted by a Titleist fitter. There is no better driver on the market than the TSR. I have played Titleist for over 25 years. I am 62 years old and have a 5 handicap. Thanks again Team Titleist!

    That is what it's all about. Glad you had a memorable first fitting and looks like you will continue to do so. Best way you can improve your game without even making swing or body changes is to get fit. I was fitted to TSR2 coming from TSI3. I loved TSI3 as the shape of the driver fit my eye better. However, the work Titleist did on TSR2 was amazing and the driver looks so clean now. I also picked up distance, off-center hits seem to fly just as far and my dispersion got tighter as well.

    Best driver I have ever used. I hit the TSR 2. Forgiving and if you hit it in the sweet spot it goes forever. Gaind 10-15 yards. Keep up the good work.

    Truly changed my game. Got my TSR2 stiff. Very hard to miss hit even swinging out of my shoes. This with my new T100s irons has me racing toward breaking 80! Thank you Team Titleist. I’m 61 and a 12 handicap.

    I’m due for a fitting in the next few weeks! I’m very excited to explore the possibilities of adding a customized shaft to a TSR. I’m totally convinced no other company is as dedicated to innovation as Titleist. I cannot wait to see the improvements.

    Loved the TS. Cray about the TSI. The TSR went to a new level. TSR 2 with tour AD iz shaft is the real deal. Then the TSR 3 wood

    Best driver to date… Been playing Stealth with ventus black…. Back to titleist with Tsr3 9 degree paired with Accra TZ6 m5.

    That’s a bad boy… this driver sounds and feels amazing and long for days. Get one.

    Just got fitted with TSR3 9 deg / +2g / Project X Evenflow Riptide 60 g / Flex 6.0. This is my first time being fitted by a Titleist Rep - what a big difference! Amazed of how it feel - seems not much of an effort to hit the ball and it just goes! Also got fitted with TSR3 (15 deg) - Hazardous Black / 70 g / Flex 6.0.

    Can't wait to get it and put it to work!

    Fitted and ordered the TSR3 8 degrees driver this last week. Up to 9 mph increase in ball speed during testing.
