  1. When you go the driving range do you keep your shoes on you turned up in or do you change into golf shoes?

I always change now because you should really get as close to the course as you can but the main reason for me was in poor weather you can ruin a new pair of shoes in a few sessions. The mats get very wet and pick up a lot of dirt which stains the side of your trainers/shoes really easily.

Just interested to know what you guys do

If I go to the course to work on specific shots I wear my FJ Professional or FJ Flex shoes (both spikeless). Both shoes provide me the traction and balance I need to practice, if they do not then I am overswinging. I do not do a lot of range time, only when I need to work on specific areas. I am fortunate to be able to play as much golf as my body will allow me. Am retired and 76.

Also, note that we can only hit off matts Monday thru Thursday. Do not go near the range on the weekends. Very busy.

FJ Flex for me on the range. Comfortable and you can go from range to the bar without changing

Depends...if I'm hitting the driving range before my round, I'm wearing golf shoes...no doubt. If I'm going to range for a practice session, I may or may not have golf shoes...no rhyme or reason. One thing I'm not doing is wearing dress shoes on the driving range

Always use my golf shoes. I have many pairs, but 2 that I call "bad weather" shoes or shoes I wear when it is especially muddy. I dont bring out the really nice shoes until the weather breaks and the ground dries up.

Always wear golf shoes when I practice. I guess it comes down to practice the way you play.
  10. I always wear golf shoes for both reasons you mention. You should always practice like you play and don't won't to wear out your everyday shoes grinding on the range.

Same here. Always have an old pair of FJs spikeless for range mats.

Im a big fan of the airmax 270 golf shoes so if im heading to the range i just stick them on before i go.

When i only had spiked golf shoes though i just wore trainers i drove there in

When I was growing up and playing different sports like baseball I always changed my shoes to my baseball shoes same as basketball and softball even for practice.so when I go to range to work on my woods and irons , short game area , or putting green I always change into my golf shoes..just habit..

If im strictly at the range - not playing afterwards I'll wear spikeless or even skateboarding shoes - if find they're super flat and similar to spikeless. I mostly do this because I'm too lazy to clean my spikes if I'm not playing a round.

I change into my golf shoes. I try to get as close as playing on a course as I can.

Always in golf shoes, unless I’m just putting. I have 2-3 pair with me most of the time in the trunk and one pair is always an “older” range pair.

99% of the time I change into the spikes for the range unless I know I'm not playing. But if I go to something like TopGolf, I don't bother with changing into the golf shoes.

Practice with a purpose, and wear your golf shoes. I go from home to the winter simulator in my Jordan 1 Low G shoes to set my mind into golf mode.

At the Driving Range I always wear my FJ shoes I play golf in. If I go chip & putt only, then I will wear my swoosh running shoes as I am not hitting shots with a half or 3/4 swing. Just little 15yd or less shots.
