    Hey, Team Titleist!

    Titleist golf ball models are designed with important differences in Flight, Spin and Feel. These options allow you to find just the right golf ball to get the most out of your unique game. Check out the video above, where we took a closer look at the first of these critical performance characteristics - Flight.

    I prefer seeing my golf ball take off on a mid-high, penetrating trajectory. That's the biggest reason why I play a Pro V1 golf ball. Perfect window for my game. What about you? How important a consideration was flight in choosing your golf ball model?

    I've always preferred a higher flight ball, even before I wised up and moved to Titleist. Been playing the Pro V1x since 2013, did a ball fitting, confirmed my choice.

    I play the left dash today, mostly because I like the lower driver spin, so I find more fairways. And I generate enough spin on my own that I don't notice much of a difference in the short game. But flight is very important. I know how my shots are going to react, the shape, even on mishits.

    I was always a super high-ball hitter but my forward shaft lean at impact has gotten a little out of control the past couple of years, so I'm taking all the height I can get with a V1x!

    For my last driver fitting, we went with a more lofted club which addressed any flight issues I had, so I'm sticking with the ProV1

    One aspect of my fitting for the new GT metal driver and fairway metals is that we determined that I should switch from the ProV1x to the ProV1z Left Dash! This was in late June...since then I have been playing the new ball model and love the results from the flight to the feel. Great to know there are a variety of ways to dial in ball model selections!!

    Thanks for the replies, everyone! It can be a subtle thing, can't it? It's difficult to describe what the right "window" is for your game, but you definitely know it when a ball is coming out too low or too high.
