Every year during the late fall and early winter months, I set up my golf schedule for future seasons. I usually set up a new schedule three years in advance.
In 2014, my travels will take me to Tam O'Shanter for my first round of the year in mid-April. My special golf trip for April will once again take me to Clarion to play Clarion Oaks. Throughout May and into June, I will be playing six consecutive rounds of golf in Ohio (I call this the Ohio Swing). Leg #1 of the Ohio Swing will take me to Canfield and Kennsington. Leg #2 will take me down to Columbiana County to play The Links at Firestone Farms. Leg #3 will take me to Vienna to play Candywood. Leg #4 will take me to Brookfield to play Yankee Run. Leg #5 will take me to Hubbard and Pine Lakes. The sixth and final leg will take me down to Rayland right along the Ohio River to play a course called Fairway River Links. After a week off, I will play Castle Hills just north of New Castle. Following another week off, I will travel towards Mercer to play Spring Valley. After another week off, I will travel down to Wampum to play a course called Stonecrest. Following another week off, I will travel to Grove City to play Pine Grove. My special golf trip for August will take me up towards Lake Erie to play a course called Whispering Woods. And finally, I plan on playing Green Meadows in Volant.
So, fellow Team Titleist members, where will your golf travels take you this year?
