Fellow TT members, I'm taking my first trip with my new sticks and obviously want to keep them from getting damaged. I'm looking at getting a new travel bag and am interested in the Titleist Club Glove Last Bag. Anyone have thoughts on this bag or recommend any other travel covers? Thanks for the input, Stephen

Hands down, I believe the Club Glove Last Bag is the best thing out there for travel with your clubs.  It's great that you can get this bag from your Titleist retailer with the Titleist script on the outside.  I would also recommend getting a "stiff arm" to put in the bag.  You set this just a little longer than your driver and it keeps the heads of your clubs from getting damaged when you travel.

    Stephen,

I am with Mike. I love my Club Glove Last Bag, I have had mine forever, it has travelled hundreds of thousands of miles with me and has held up very well. Also, get the stiff arm in order to protect the driver and fairway wood shafts. I use one and it works well for me. Enjoy your travels.

I have the Last Bag as well and have to echo the previous comments, including the use of the stiff arm.  Simply a great, well made product.

I have traveled my Club Glove Last Cover well over 250,000 miles and it still looks and protects like new. It is the cover that is primarily used by most Touring Professionals. It is the one to buy!

Club Glove for sure!  Get a Stiff Arm too for it!  That combo is perfection.

Ok ok,  the clear winner in Club Glove with Stiff Arm.... Here's the best advise I got.. Get a color other than black and get your initials embroidered on the bag.... Makes for easy ID when getting to baggage claim.. I've never seen a burgundy bag(mine) and if you can get off the plane fast enough, it makes it that easier to see.

As many have previously stated, the Club Glove is the best travel cover on the market.

I always ship mine. I sometimes still use a protective bag like the one mentioned, but since much of the time I travel with my wife and kids and have way to many bags, I find it much more convenient to just have my golf bag sent to the hotel I'm staying or the course I'm playing. You can insure it for the value, which gives more peace of mind as well. How much will an airline pay if they break them?

I tried bringing it on the plane, but I've seen what they do with bags and I want my nice Titleist clubs looking the same before and after my trip.

FYI, you can also take your driver head off and wrap it in bubble wrap so it's not so long and more protected.

The Club Glove with a stiff arm is where it's at.  Last year I put almost 60 flights on her without issue.

  11. Thanks for all the input! I bought a club glove and stiff  arm. Can't wait to take my first trip with the new sticks!

Club Glove will definitely be the "Last Bag" you will ever need. Not sure why the other companies are still in business.

I've owned The Last Bag ... for many years.

    It wasn't the last bag.

A new bag glides in ...  Club Glider Journey is magnificent. So smooth ... no noise when gliding.

Club Glove is hands-down way to go if you put your bag on airline. Never have tried the shipping route. Too much of a control freak.

Your clubs can, and will, be unpacked by TSA.  I watched them drop my irons, one at a time, on a tile floor to check the sound (yes, they were dropping them on the clubheads).  Agent told me they've had issues with contraband being sent inside shafts (installed and gripped).

They tore a Cameron headcover and, yes, dropped my putter on the floor to check the sound.  All in front of me (ten or so feet away).

I've shipped my clubs every time since.

Wow.  If I can ask, what airports were you traveling through?  I've had the note from TSA that they had been in my bag between Boston and Phoenix but haven't ever heard of this.  I started carrying on all my ProV1's since a few went "missing".

I've done a lot of flying with my clubs over the years (at least 40 round trips). I've never heard or seen people dropping clubs on the ground. That's pretty rough to have to watch someone ding your Scotty.

For me, often times there are notes from TSA stating that they've gone through my stuff, and even removed things (cigar lighter). I have also had clubs put back differently then I put them in, and I've had a couple of proVs turn into "lost balls" as well. That said, the club glove is without a doubt the way to go. I usually wrap my rain gear around the heads and have yet to have a problem.

I agree with all the other people club glove is awesome.  I recently went to vegas with a buddy of mine and he had a sun mountain case with the flip down leg that made the bag like a cart to push.  It was really cool.  You didn't have to keep putting the bad down and picking it up.  Just a thought to check it out.
