i'm going to Orlando tomorrow. I'm going to play my butt off. I know of the main courses. I'm going to play "OCN The Panther". i've played Orange Lake "The Legends", Champions Gate, Falcon's Fire. What I really want to do is play nice local courses cheap off of Golfnow. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary is fantastic. They have brand new greens and it is a truly fun test. Other good courses are Southern Dunes and Eagle Creek.

    Have fun!

I would play Disney, but I want to experience Orlando, and now just the tourist spots. I saw Royal St. Cloud on the Golf Channel. It's only $28 bucks. It has nice reviews. We're in Chattanooga for the night, getting there tomorrow. I'll play The par 3, lighted Legend's Walk tomorrow night. I heard about Southern Dunes, Eagle Creek. My buddy has a timeshare at Mystic Dunes, but I have not played there yet. I was going to go to Sawgrass, but they want $395. If I can get it for under $200, I may play there. For sure, I'm playing the Panther! Thanks guys!

I played Timacuan today. It's in great shape. The fairways were a little hairy because of over-seeding (to be expected in the fall)\, so our drives were kind of short. The greens were immaculate. While the elevations changes and water made the course challenging, the greens were brutal in an Augusta sort of way. Thanks for the recommendation. I want to buy a house there.

I just played in Orlando this weekend and everything is in great condition.  I played Disney's Magnolia course which was in great shape and you can get reasonably priced tee times on GolfNow.  Grande Lakes was also amazing but I would not consider that cheep.  Enjoy!

I heard nothing but good things about the Disney courses. I come here every year at this time. I like it because it's warm and the slow season. I don't like crowds. I want to play 6 or 7 times at various courses for under $70 if not cheaper. I'll hit the Disney courses some year. This year is Orange County National The Panther where they hold Q school.
