Heading to Maui, Where to play?

    Hi TT, 

    Well it's been snowing non stop her in New England, and Hawaiian Airlines was running one heck of a sale... Coincidence?  I think not.  My Wife and I are heading back to Maui in a couple weeks.  As much as I loved Kapalua, I don't think it's gonna be in the budget this go around.  I'm looking to play somewhere nice that's in the $150 or less range.  If you've got a good track you know of in Maui (or a promo code for Kapalua), hook a brother up will ya?!?!?

    I go all the time and I play the Wailea Gold and Emerald courses. I always get a special package called the "Seahorse Swing". 3 days of unlimited golf (you pick any 3 days). It's a great deal if you only play once on 3 separate days, but an amazing deal if you want to play more. It's $450 if you're staying at a Wailea resort and $510 if you're not.

    They will also keep your clubs for you at the course.

    Brother,  I have never been to Hawaii, however a few weeks ago, on the internet there was an article entitled "Top 5 Courses to Play in Hawaii".  Along with those expensive recommendations was a "Best Value".  That happens to be Wailua Golf Course, Kauai.  Price  $60.00.  Check it out.     GMan

    Wailua on Kauai is definitely underrated and well worth the money! Have played it numerous times and it is always in great shape and 4 hours or less.

    Where are you staying,  If on the Westside Kaanapali has 2 courses that are good.  Kapalua has a Bay Course which I believe is cheaper than the Plantation.  It is "Seasonal" now so rates are high.

    If you  are in the South side, (Wailea/Kihei area) there are 4 Courses Wailea Blue/Gold/Emerald, and Maui Nui (Eliair Renamed)

    The above courses are "Championship" type courses.
