I am planning a family vacation in Orlando and I'm looking to get away one day and play. I'm looking for advice on the Disney courses. Which one is the best? Thanks!

As someone who gets drug to Disney a couple times a year by their wife, I know a bit about the courses at Disney. The 3 courses I like there, Magnolia, Palm and Lake Buena Vista, all are quite differrent and just depends on what you are looking for. The Magnolia is the longest, and where they play the Children's Miracle Tournament, it's their signature course, a lot of fun especially if you have ever watched any coverage of the tournaments. The Palm is a little shorter, not as much trouble as the other two, and recently redone. Lake Buena Vista, may be my favorite, nice course, challanging approach shots, even have a island green. I've played each numerous times, and always switch up where I play there, but you really can't go wrong. Hope this helps!

I agree that all three courses are beautiful and unique. My personal favorite is the Magnolia. The course is beautiful, immaculately kept, and challenging but fair. If you can get away for a whole day, I would recommend playing either Magnolia or Palm in the morning and then hopping onto the Oaks Trail course which is a 9-hole walking course that is a fun short course with some beautiful nature views.

I am a fan of Magnolia. Have played them all and would rank them:
1) Magnolia
2) Palm
3) LBV
I'm going down in July and looking forward to playing there. Very early AM tee time - it gets hot in the summer...

Magnolia and Palm are both nice courses. Buena Vista is a short resort course with tight water holes. It's OK, but not as much of an adventure. Oak Trail is a short executive course for walking.
Between Magnolia and Palm, it's a coin flip really. Palm was closed for a short time while they did some course changes to improve it, so I'd say they are on par with each other.
If you want to try a nearby course that use to be a Disney course until recently, you could check out the 4 seasons. A really neat track that use to be my favorite Disney course.

Hi i have played the Disney courses a lot and they are nice Magnolia is my favorite.
but just consider courses out of disney 20 mins away is Orange County National where they used to have tour qualifiying school better than disney the courses are superb Panther lake is best IMO.
celebration gc is really good
if you can stretch to ritz carlton this is as close to PGA tour quality that you will get.
waldorf is also top notch.
my favorite in the orlando area is Southern Dunes gc on US27 this is the holy grail and you wont ply better in the USA.
this depends where you are staying but its 45 mins from disney. Its worth every cent.

I like Lake Buena Vista and I also liked Osprey Ridge has always been a little less crowded. Maybe since its a little off the beaten path but regardless they are all nice courses. As a matter of fact the first time I ever played Titleist clubs was on a vacation to Disney. With the family there for a week near the end one day the wife and kids slept in so I called a shuttle went to play then they rented Titleist Clubs. Liked them so much I got home sold the P*#gs and been playing Titleist ever since and between the quality of the product and the great customer support and programs they offer will never play anything else.
Thanks for the advice!

While I have played the Disney courses, and they are challenging, you might want a break from the Mouse.
Though if your staying in the Park the whole time you might as well go full tilt ;)
One place I like is www.celebrationgolf.com.
Robert Trent Jones Sr and Jr designed, great layout, facility and still within minutes of Park.
You can save some money if you have a relative with FL drivers licens.
