Golf shops in NYC

    Titleist friends,

    My wife and I are heading to NYC this weekend and I wanted to ask for some advice on any golf shops worth visiting.

    Assuming you're going into the city head for New York Golf Center...it's just around the block from Macy's. They have a great range of clubs, clothing and custom fit facilities.

    I've been to NYC a few times and can't recall seeing a good golf store there.  However, it might be worth checking out Trump's new course..  I think it's only a ferry ride over...

    Nothing gamechanging in NYC -- Golfsmith around 53d/Lex midtown is like any Golfsmith. New York Golf Center is fine but not worth going out of your way. Maybe hit balls at Chelsea Piers for the experience. But my advice is to skip, even though I ordinarily like to check out golf shops in different cities.

    Sleepy Hollow is a Regional Fitting Center 40 miles north of downtown Manhattan. That would be my first choice.
