Any suggestions on good courses that are well priced in this area? Going down in december and was hoping to play a few rounds.

    Brandon,

I was in SW FL at the end of Sept and picked up a golf mag that listed a bunch of courses.  I can't recommend any since I have not played in the area yet, but if you go to the link I've included and open the mag to page 25 you'll see the listing of all the courses in the area.

    Hope this helps you,

    Barry

I'm not sure about "well priced" in December, but I always play Old Corkscrew when I'm there. Enjoy the views, and forget the score :D

My in laws live in Naples and my father in law said every golf course is going to be insanely priced. His go to course is $30-$50 between April 1 and November 1, and goes up to $250-$300 for the green fee during the other months. I will call him this week and see if there's anything less, especially since we will be there in December as well.

i have the same question as i'm headed down in January for meeting.

Now, if you want to treat yourself, you aren't too far from Streamsong.

I've played Streamsong and Old Corkscrew.  Both GREAT courses and well worth the price..  If you could only pick one, I would head to Streamsong.  Just an amazing course.

And hate to say it, you're not going to find too many cheap places during December unless you go after 2 or 3?

    Have a great time!

I frequent this area as my in-laws have a place near Ft Meyers...

We usually play on Sanabel at "The Dunes" which is a nice course and probably around $60ish that time of year. Also, Royal Tee's is generally a decent public track that has 3 9's so you can keep it interesting, and is pretty reasonable.

I keep hearing about "The Corkscrew" so I will be checking that out next trip down!

Good luck and enjoy your trip!
