    Good morning TT! I'm heading down to The Villages the first week of April and looking for recommendations for courses to play. My parents winter there and are not golfers. I'm not looking to travel far as I will have the wife and baby with me. But still want to get away for a couple early morning rounds if possible.

    So far the only course that looks appealing to me is the Palmer Legends. What are your thoughts and experiences?

    I just returned from a week at The Villages visiting the in-laws with my family. Over the years I think I've played almost all of the "championship" courses and on this visit I played:

    Palmer
    Havana
    Mallory Hill
    Tierra Del Sol
    Evans Prairie

    Palmer is good, I also liked Evans Prairie. The others are fairly even in my opinion, although green speeds seemed to vary considerably among the courses.

    Thanks Jim. Are they hard to get on? Or is it pretty easy to get a tee time?

    I honestly have no idea Andrew, my in-laws took care of all of the tee times. From what I understand, it's all computerized and somewhat luck of the draw.
