Marriott has a resort with a Harry Varden/Jack Nicklaus II golf course that has been used on the European Senior Tour. Hanbury Manor outside of Ware. Their rental sets are Titleist. There is public transportation to Ware.

Hi Rob, welcome to the UK when June arrives. As London is a densely populated area, there aren't many golf courses that will give you a good impression of what the UK has to offer..

If you are prepared to travel just outside the Capital, there is an abundance of quality golf courses to be found in Hertfordshire, Surrey and Kent. Below are some links with suggestions, in addition to these I would look at; The Shire, Woburn, Essendon, Brocket Hall & The Grove. If you are looking for something to do in the evening try Swingers crazy golf (City) in central London which has food stalls, a bar, x2 courses and great atmosphere.
