    I am traveling to Scotland for the Open Championship. However, the week prior I'll be in England... what courses should I target while there?

    Currently, we are going to London, the Cotswalds, and then traveling north... undecided if we go up the eastern coast towards Newcastle or if we're going up through Liverpool/Manchester and then across towards Newcastle.

    I am big Newcastle United fan (which for the most part means misery) hence the trip into Newcastle. Open to ideas, and suggestions... including if I can get onto an Open rota course in England easier than in Scotland...

    You'll have fun no matter what. Was lucky enough to be able to live in England when my dad was stationed there with the Air Force from 73' to 75'. Lived in Ipswich, Suffolk. Made many trips to Portman Road to watch Town play. Remember seeing a few against Newcastle back in the old First Division (now the Premier league). Want to get back there eventually to relive the memories and play some golf.
