I used cabs arranged through my hotel. While it might be more expensive than Uber, I was a little concerned about personal safety and a lack of control on Uber drivers, especially since I speak very little Spanish. I also like staying in the Lands End area where you can easily walk to the harbor area for shops, restaurants, and bars.

I have never actually stayed in Cabo San Lucas; usually at a resort closer to San Jose del Cabo. Have played Cabo Real and Palmilla. Palmilla was a lot like my experience in Arizona. Generous enough fairways, but if you are way offline you are in the "desert". Only difference, there are no signs telling you to leave your ball because of rattlesnakes.

I personally wouldn't do any transport that I didn't didn't pre-arrange with a reputable car service to/from the airport. For any in town transport, I would only use what the hotel/resort arranged. Might be over cautious, but you just never know.

I was fortunate to get to play Chileno Bay while in Cabo last year. It was an unreal experience. The Sea of Cortez is absolutely beautiful.

I was recently in Cabo for my honeymoon this past October and had a blast at the Puerto Los Cabos.

Me and the wife caught an Uber both ways with no issue and the driver(s) had really high ratings. The course itself was very beautiful with views and the all inclusive beverages and food kept the good times rolling.

Sandy... You are absolutely going to LOVE playing Quivira!!! I have been fortunate to play some amazing courses in my life but Quivira is the most beautiful course I have ever played...I was able to have my wife ride with me while I played she had the time of her life and she is not a big golfer not only is the course beyond amazing but the stops they call "Comfort Stations" after holes 4,8 & 15 serve incredible food with panoramic views of the ocean...The very best tacos I had on my entire trip to Cabo were on the golf course at Quivira... First Class experience!! I will definitely be going back again!!
