    Anyone preparing for a big competition this weekend - what are you doing to get yourself ready? Or are you just playing your usual weekend roll-up - anything you're going to be working on? Let us know!

    Wekeend Roll up tomorrow at Braintree GC Want to get back to sweep ing club through impact area.. was hitting down too much last week and chunked a few!! And then round greens get a better feeling at address... other option is to hit the greens instead!!

    My son is getting ready for the start of the North West England junior winter series starting on Monday at Hillside and then onto S&A on Tuesday,  can`t wait to give the new 48, 52, 56 & 60 spin milled a whirl, 

    He`s feeling more and more confident of attacking the pin every time he uses them,

    3 club challenge at Drayton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Which 3 clubs would you use? 1 has to be a putter. I'll be taking 7 wood and 7 Iron.

    Read with interest the poll re practice, given half the game is putting this should surely be the most practiced area of the game..... Given the results 40% are like me, love just messing with a wedge around the green, mastering the flop shot.......

    Play ten chips and then continue with the putts. Par is to be down in 2 shots per ball. It makes it a bit competitive.
