The volume of left handed product sold in the UK and Ireland has, in the recent past, only warranted a single finish. We do review this year on year.

Thank you for the reply. I did anticipate that the argument why the Oil can finish is not available in the UK in LH, is down to a matter of numbers. However, I have done some research, and it would appear that, from my research, there are roughly 4,000,000 golfers in the UK. In comparison there are roughly 1,700,000 in the whole of Australasia, yet Titleist Australia are offering the SM4 in LH in the Oil Can option! I am very sorry but the old "numbers" argument breaks down completely, when the same company offers a product to a smaller market, yet does not offer it to a proven larger one. I have been used to being told a product is not manufactured for lefty's due to numbers, and whether i agree or like it or not, I have to accept this with good grace. However, when a company decides to manufacture a product, and its sat on the shelves in the US, but decides not to simply ship it, it makes no sense whatsoever. When orders are placed for products by Titleist UK to HQ in the States, it costs no more money to ship 3 Oil Can wedges which are sat on the shelf waiting, than to ship 3 Tour Satin finish wedges! I would respectfully urge Titleist to reconsider this nonsense, so that customers in the UK can order Titleist products that are globally available to other smaller markets. I do not expect Titleist to hold stocks of these niche items, but simply make it known that they are available to special order through a Titleist stockist. I would be more than happy to wait a couple of weeks for the Oil Can Wedges to come from the States. I have the cash waiting here! Its up to Titleist whether they want this cash or not?
