    Hi, just to let u know, I v just received my new Ap2 712 iron , also got the D2 910 driver,today (fri 18th nov) went and got custom fitted and have had them on back order for about two months,OMG the irons are stunning!!!! Can't wait to get out for a hit with them! Custom fitting is def the way to go and advise anybody thinking of getting new equipment to get this done, I have no excuses now so single figures is top priority!!! Just need to learn how to putt!!!

    Hi Neil, I have been looking at the new vokey wedges to complete my clubs, is it advisable to get fitted for your wedges aswell? I'm probably looking at a 52, 56 & 60, could wait until a demo day was on nearer my home as the fitting centre is about a 2 hr drive, are wedges fitted with different shafts? Any advice appreciated, cheers Kenny. P.s do you have a list of days for demo days in Ayrshire for 2012?

    Hi Kenny - yes, would always recommend a fitting, maybe even more so for wedges, as you need to establish if you are a digger or a slider as Bob Vokey says! Also, you just need to check your gaps between clubs to make sure you have the right distance differences.

    There's no schedule yet for Fitting Days in the UK and Ireland, although I suspect there will be one in Ayrshire (just can't tell you when that will be available).

    Other alternatives are visit your home pro for a fitting, to make an appointment again at Kings Acre or look for a fitting account nearby.

    Hi Kenny - I was fitted for new irons and Titleist earlier this year and was fitted for wedges at the same time, we discussed the lofts and lies and I was set up with the same shafts etc I definitely think it's worth doing.
