  1. Played the NXT Tour S today. Temperature was about 10C and quiet windy on my very open course. The immediate thing I noticed was the additional height the flight of the ball got I had to lower my launch angle down on my new R11S after about the 5 or 6th drive. I then found that I got a more penertating drive into the wind and I was definately hitting further than normal. sounded great of the club face.

5 iron off the tee but the flight was more like a 6 or 7 iron. This remained a consistent feature throughout. I cant say I gained any distance with this ball but I was definately more accurate and had better stopping control onto the greens, It will be nice to see if this is the same when the greens harden up a little.

In and around the greens, ball felt soft and stopping was good. Overall I was very impressed with this ball. I haven't tried the new NXT Tour yet that will be on friday next. I cant wait as this was my prefered ball and I'm saving the best till last. overall I was very impressed with the Tour S.

Many thanks Titleist for the opportunity to try these new balls. I am normally reluctant to try new balls, but I am stunned by the Tour S, I only used 1 ball, played to 3 under my handicap and beat my playing partner by 16 points. so I played good and he badly but then again I was always going to win playing with a new ball and that extra concentration level helped....

I used the NXT Tour S for the first time yesterday and i agree about the height ,it took awhile to focus in on the flight

I enjoyed the feel of the club face and the stop on the greens even hit my 2 iron to a par three (186m) and stopped quickly  four feet from pitch mark, ( not so close to the pin and no birdie ) Driver distance for me not alot of difference.

Question???????? will i change from proV to NXT S   Not sure yet will need alot more rounds of  normal play ( if i do not lose it )
