I tried both balls kindly sent to me by Titleist on Saturday.

NXT Tour S

I used this ball initially. I had trouble controlling it with the driver, but found it had great feel around the greens. I also felt I lost a little bit of distance compared with the old NXT Tours I was using before.

New NXT Tour

I changed to this ball halfway through my round. I really enjoyed playing with this ball, hitting the middle of the fairways with my driver and getting great control around the greens. I also think I gained an extra 10 yards with my driver. I think it is a definite improvement on last years NXT.

I have a handicap of 17 and playing in winter conditions doesn't necessary mean the test was entirely valid. I will post an update when we get better conditions.
