There is no issue whatsoever in being custom fitted for a single club or buying a single club. The best thing to do as far as arranging the fitting and gaining any pricing info would be to get in touch with your pro or an authorised Titleist retailer / fitter.

Please can you telll me if you can fit a PXI shaft in an AP2, I have been fitted by Titleist for AP2 project X 6.5 but I am interested in the new PXI as I need 1 and a half inch longer which makes the clubs heavier and the PXI will make it lighter.  I have a swing speed of 115 mph for a 6 iron so I dont need the extrta speed or length just thinking about the weight.  Many thanks  Graham

Hi Graham,

The PXI shaft has just been added to our shaft matrix, so you can have these in AP2 irons. According to True Temper, "the PXI's lighter weight produces greater distance and improved feel through an optimized butt to tip stiffness calibration". At 6.5 flex, the PXI is 8g per shaft lighter than the Project X shaft.

Hi Neil thanks for the reply, but I have a problem.  I have been told that Titleist have withdrawn the PXI shaft as there is a problem with connecting to the AP2 possibloe swing weight or other reason.  Please could you help, I have waited over 9 months to get this combination and I would like to clear up this situation.  Can you tell my why they have withdrawn the shaft, and when it will be released again in the fitting centers and for the combination for sale again.  Sorry for the long question.
