  1. Hello, I am currently playing with a standard 910 d2 with a diamana blue shaft. I find I am alot more comfortable over the ball gripping down the bottom of the grip. I am 5`7" tall. I am starting to think a shorter shaft would suit me better, 44"  perhaps or maybe even 43.5". My main question is regarding swing weight, how can I keep it the same / does it need to be kept the same?

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies.

    Hi Tom,

Our standard swing weight for the driver set up as described in your post should be D3 with the 7g (red) bezel weight.

If you shorten the driver by 1" and don't change the bezel weight in the head, it will swing weight at approximately C7.

If you change the bezel weight to the heaviest 12g weight (black), it should come closer to D0, still lighter than the original, but closer to it.

It's not essential that the swing weight remains the same, but it will feel different. It just depends if you are sensitive enough to feel the difference between D3 and D0.

    Hope that this helps.

Or combine the heavier bezel weights with a lighter grip, such as the Winn lite grip of course, that will bring the swing up to closer to its original swingweight.
