I have recently acquired a ProLaunch Blue 75x shaft in my R7 driver and it has given me so much more accuracy due to the stability of the head without any significant loss of distance. I have the made for Titleist Voodoo stiff shafts in my 909F fairway woods and find them a bit unstable so wanted to change to the fairway wood version of the ProLaunch Blue 75x but have had no joy finding one. It may be that this shaft does not exist for the fairway woods and if not, can you tell me what the nearest alternative is.

    Hi Rod,

We don't still have ProLaunch Blue available for a fairway wood. It was around 80g, with 2.8 deg of torque and fairly high launching. A rough equivalent would be something like the Axiv Core Black 79 X (77g and 2.5* Torque).

As always though, we would recommend going to be fit, as the way a shaft performs for one golfer can be very different for another.

    Thanks
