  1. Hi,

I've had fitting with two separate pro shops in Dublin and they have recommended

    a) 910 D2 9.5 with a Aldila RIP "60" 2.9 stiff shaft

    b) 910 D3 10.5 with a Fujikura Motore F1 55 stiff shaft

My swing speed is about 95 mph and I was hitting the D2 with about 3000-3200 spin.

I am just wondering is there much difference between these two specs as I know the D2 flies a little higher, so does that counter act the loft?

I'd like a club where I might be able to drive it low into the wind if required. I'm currently playing off a 12 handicap.

    Thannks,

    John.

    Hi John,

It's virtually impossible to give you a definitive answer without seeing how you swing the club and launch the golf ball. You may have ended up with two different specs because, at the point of fitting, you were swinging the club differently.

However, having spoken to one of our fitters, he has indicated on swing speed alone that the Fujikura shaft would be better suited at 95mph.

It may be worth considering asking your pro to arrange an appointment to be fitted at the Titleist National Fitting Centre at the GUI Academy at Carton House.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Hi,

Thanks, I wasn't aware there was a fitting center at Carton house.

What is the turn around time at this time of year between getting a fitting and taking delivery of the club?

    Thanks,

    John.

    Hi John,

Yes - your pro / authorised Titleist stockist can make an appointment for you.

Generally, from receipt of the order from your pro (and assuming components are in stock) a good rule of thumb would be a week until delivery back to your pro (we do aim to beat this however).

    Hope this helps.

  5. Hi guys, sorry to hijack post here, I have a 100 mph swingspeed give or take

And have just purchased the d2 9.5 degree with a diamana blue stiff shaft, I play off

5 but my bad shot is losing it right and ballooning into wind got the club 4 days ago seems

More forgiving than d3 but flight still pretty penetrating and I've gained 15 yards in first couple

Of rounds so I'd suggest the d2 John as a player to player viewpoint, hope it works for you???

Advice please I setup on b2 setting and initial feeling is that it leaks a little but then a straight left appears

I had an r9 supertri on upright and slight draw setting with reg shaft it went high but pretty easy to keep straight

If you have and advice on how to control better it would be great should I try and swing faster as its a stiff shaft or

Just swing same as my old regular shaft r9 ??????

    Any help/advice much appreciated
