I am looking into getting fitted for some AP2 irons. I asked my Pro about booking a fitting at Celtic Manor and he said there is no need to go there as their fitting process is exactly the same. Is this correct?
Thanks, Mat

Hi Mat,
Celtic Manor use the Titleist SureFit system and have launch monitors to provide some feedback on the launch and flight of the golf ball.
It may be that your pro has both the SureFit system and a launch monitor, in which case it would a very similar process.
Ultimately, it is the flight of the ball that provides the feedback required to make a fitting assessment. If your pro is an experienced fitter, then he / she will be able to make recommendations from watching your ball flight (without the absolute need for a launch monitor).
Hope that this helps.

Hi Neil,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes, they have a launch monitor too. So I'll get on and get fitted!

Let us know how you get on Mat!
I had my fitting yesterday and I have placed the order!
AP2 712's 5-PW with Dynamic Gold shafts, half inch longer an a few degrees upright.
Also, 52 and 56 degree SM4 Vokeys.
Cant wait now!!
Right, I was fitted on Sunday. On the way home from work today, I got a call from my local Pro. Your irons have arrived!
What an amazing service! I am very pleased with them and have a charity day tomorrow, so will get to give them a run straight away!
