    Hi Guys

Was wondering if anyone would have information on this?

I recently purchased a set of Z-M forged irons from my local proshop, they are used but in great condition. They have dynamic gold S300 shafts and new grips fitted from the pro shop I bought them from, which said the new grips replaced the original Titleist grips. The clubs look amazing and perform outstandingly, they feel great.

The thing that is a slight concern is that there is no serial number stamped on the hosel on any of the clubs. My question is what does this mean? Do all Titleist clubs come with a serial number? On my 910 D3 and 910 F there is a sticker at the top of the shaft with the serial number on it. I have however noticed that there are stickers removed from all of the top of the shafts of the irons, could this of been where the serial numbers were?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

    Hi Julian,

There should be a serial number on the ferrule - four digits for stock and six digits for custom.

If that is not present, then it could be that the clubs have been re-shafted by a third party.

The stickers that have been removed are more likely to be the shaft-bands.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Neil

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have checked the ferrule on all the shafts and there is no serial number on them. They must have been re-shafted because they perform far to well to be counterfeit. Happy out with the new clubs now, lets hope I can get into lower digits with them.
