During the summer i had a couple of custom fitting sessions up at St Ives,

I was fit for titleist  through the bag. With the release of the 913 D2's, F's

and H's upon us. Using the results of said fitting, still using the same type,

make, flex of shafts and the same numbers from the performance guide

i.e. A1. Can i just make a straight swop or do you advise a re-fit?

    Hi Andrew,

The results that you had during the summer would be a good starting point, but we would always advise going for another fitting, simply because the head / shaft combination could react differently depending on your angle of attack / swing plane / how you launch the golf ball.

Additionally, the performance of the 913 fairways and hybrids in particular is different to previous generation product - i.e. it launches higher and with less spin. Therefore, you could have a shaft in an existing fairway, for example, which has a low kick point in order to optimise launch, which is not needed in a 913 fairway due to the higher launch achieved from a re-positioned CG.

All-in-all, a long way of saying that we would recommend going for another fitting! ;o)

    Hope this helps!

I'll email Paul Thomson to arrange a fitting early in the new year.
