    Hi,

I've been looking at a set of Titleist AP2 irons on eBay (orginal - pre 710 version). There is a 5-digit serial number stamped on each hosel (47MJH). As I understand it the clubs should have either a 5 or 7-digit serial number depending on where they originate from (i.e. US or Europe). Can you verify if they are genuine irons?

    Thanks

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

I can verify that the serial number you quote relates to a set of original AP2 with Dynamic Gold shafts with Sensicore S300, 0.5" long and 2° up built in the US.

    Thanks

Neil, Really appreciate your quick response. Are you also able to check serial number 13IAU. They should be 660mb's, but i'm unsure about loft and lie. Best regards Richard

    Hi Richard,

The serial number relates to a set of 660's 3-PW with DYG S300 and standard specs.

    Thanks

    Hi Neil,

Do the 712 AP2s still have the serial number on the 6 iron ferrule - just that I don't think that mine have??!!

    Cheers,

    Duncan

    Hi Duncan,

Only custom built irons are stamped on the ferrule - stock sets of clubs have the security label.

    Thanks
