Looking to up grade my wedges, just a quick question.

Got fitted the other year for a set of 712 CB's which I'm very happy with and hit well.

Specs were 3/4 inch shorter, 1 degree up and DG SL S300 shafts.

Q1 Should I go with the same length/upright set up for my wedges?

Q2 Will be going for the same 52/56/60 as I currently have. Really only use the 52 for full shots so shaft wise should I go for the sl s300 in the 52 or what is the standard shaft like?

Hi Ronan, thanks for your post and question.

To be honest its not an easy answer. You can match shafts, lengths and lies in wedges to Irons. But generally it will be a different lie angle in the wedges. Usually flatter. Shafts can be softer, and the Wedge Shaft works well. You may also go shorter in length in the 56 and 60, if it feels comfortable/controllable.

Regarding what wedges you want, it really is player dependant and what best works in your set makeup. Our best recommendation would be for you to be fitted. From the results, we will be better able to answer your questions. Hope that helps. Thanks again.
