Titleist 714 irons length

    Hi all

    i am looking for info on the titleist 714 ap2 irons

    ive noticed the lengths for these irons are slightly longer than other makers. i have always used miz or taylor made. the lengths for the 3 iron and 8 iron are 38.75 inches and 36.25 inches respectively.

    on the Titleist ap2 the lengths are 39 inches and 36.50

    are the titleist irons genuinely 0.25 inches longer? or are they measured differently? (ie from end of grip rather than end of steel shaft)

    also what is the maximum you can flatten the lie on these irons? is 3 degrees flat possible?

    Hi Bobby,

    Thanks for your question.  These lengths are right for our irons.  Every manufacturer works to different specifications, and we have determined that those lengths work best for us.  Obviously we offer a full range of custom specifications, and both of our AP series of irons are able to be lengthened by 2 inches or shortened by one inch.

    In regards to lie angle, the maximum we are able to flatten them is 2 degrees.
