A few months ago I attended a fitting session in St Ives where one of the options was a 21* F2 with a Phenom 70g stiff shaft. with a standard 9g weight.  

At the last minute I decided to give a 7 wood a try, as I was playing at Slaley Hall and felt this club would fill a gap in my bag for the two courses I was due to play, but when it arrived the head immediately felt heavy, and on checking the club and found it had a 14g weight.

I have 5 other 913s from driver to 24* hybrid, all standard with the shafts from 60g to 80g, all have the 9g weight so I am wondering if there is any logic or reason why the 7 wood came with the 14g weight and, if so, whether there is any swing weight guide for varying shafts/shaft weights.  

I would add the shaft is standard length as I note in an earlier thread about swing weights that to compensate for shortening a shaft by 1/2 an inch the 14g weight would balance the club.
