Good work! I had a really big handicap reduction one weekend a year ago, as during a two day comp I hit my second really low score of a short period and so my handicap went from a 15.0 to 13.2 and ten the second day that went to a 9.4. I struggled with that for a summer but moved to the UAE in August at a steady 9.4 that I felt comfortable with. Much hard work has gone into maintaining that and now I'm looking at beating my way down to 4/5/6 this summer. Looking forward to getting back to the UK rather than championship courses Here that have high slope ratings.

The Earth Course

where do you play? I'm really looking forward to the trip. as I've never played on that side of the world before..

I live in Abu Dhabi so play most of my golf on the championship course at Abu Dhabi Gac, but also get the joy of Yas Links and saadiyat Beach. Yas is particularly beautiful. Obviously the Eart course is lovely, probably one of the best courses over here and I haven't played AR yet but heard nothing but good things and cally use it for lots of their testing and pro days.

I've been stuck on 12 for an eternity! The lowest I've been is 9.5; one good round to get to single figures and couldn't manage it. If I can keep the practice going this season (particularly short game) I'd like to think I could knock off a shot or two

bit of an update, I finished fourth in Dubai, I was sat in third spot after the first two days but had a poor round and with that added to the extremely difficult Earth Course, wasn't the best. I'm overall happy with how I played.

to top it off, my first round back was the 11 hole roll up, where I shot 27 points - LEVEL Gross.

now to try and post some good scores.
