I wasn't lucky enough to get any of the new prototype balls to try but after reading the information on the web site and following the advice of my Pro, I picked up a dozen of the new Pro V1s on Sunday.

Got to say I was really impressed, it seemed to be a cross between the old X and the 1 and really worked. Great ball flight with loads of spin and feel around the greens. I might try the X out at some stage as a comparison but the 1 will be hard to beat.

Can really recommend them to everyone, if in doubt grab yourself a sleeve and give them a go but bet you go back for a dozen!!
