Well Chris, After me having a wee dig (And as i Didn't get myself) How was your Friday ??

Was looing forward to going to the Open tomorrow afternoon, that was until I saw the weather forecast, I'm expecting my waterproofs to have a thorough test! Thankfully its looks as though Saturdays weather has improved so we'll dry out in the sun and wind!
Looking forward to watching the pros do their business, good rounds by Speith and Poulter today, lets hope they can keep it going!

It was a fantastic experience I cant recommend it enough to anyone. I am currently in discussions with the wife to go to Carnoustie next year for the weekend.

The one thing that surprised me was how quickly the majority of players actually play. Once it is their turn they simply have a practice swing or two then hit.

The next time I go I wont follow a marquee group as its next to impossible to see that much the difference between following Rory and Day for example was unreal. We followed Day for six holes and had no trouble and got as close as possible, with Rory the spectators were 5/6 deep and you had to climb up hills to watch anything.

All in all great fun though.
