New putter

    For long enough I've struggled with putting(18 3 putts anyone?) I prefer the look of a blade but swing more mallet like. I have a refinished circa62 and a red X form Scotty Cameron, the circa62 closes too much and the red X doesn't suit my eye. However, got myself a Tei long neck, looks of the blade but straight back and through swing, mint condition, can't wait to try.

    Very nice! I'm in a similar boat to you and have found some success with centre shafted blade putters - take a look!

    I was in the same boat as you for years and last year I bought myself a Scotty Cameron Futura X counter balance, had a putting lesson on SAM putt lab and have been putting the practice in and now it is easily one of the strongest parts of my game!! Having a putter you like takes away half of the battle.

    Game within a game. Played Tuesday and broke 80 for only 3rd time this year, 1 birdie and 2 three putts. Think your right Jonathan, liking the putter is half the battle, see what Saturday brings. Enjoy your golf folks.

    I'm heading to the Scotty Cameron Gallery Store and Studio in a couple of weeks and booked in for the putter fitting experience. Can't wait to see what they put me in to and what amazing items I'll find in the store.
