    To all those playing at Royal Birkdale next week, just want to say the course is in great condition. The recent hot and dry well has resulted in the rough becoming a bit thin and wispy. You should all have a great day, hope you get some good weather.

    Unfortunately I had major surgery (again) earlier in the year and I'm just getting back to playing. I'd like to be able to invite three other TT members as guests to play at Royal Birkdale later this year. Maybe TT could help out with this and we could donate a bit to Cancer Research.

    Good luck to the lucky ones next week. Never played Royal Birkdale but its on my bucket list!

    That's awesome! Glad to hear your on the road to recovery and your starting to get back in the swing of things.

    Jaw dropping gesture. I was lucky enough to watch the 146th open they was a real eye opener, enjoyed it so much.

    Hope you raise a massive amount for your chosen charity

    Glad to see you are on the road to recovery, remember to take it slow and get plenty of rest.

    I had the pleasure of playing last year representing TT and words can not give it justice, the stands were still up in places after the Open and it was an incredible day
