    Just got email re this cosmetic change to the ap2 and ap3 irons, very cool, would look great in the bag with the stealth leather headcovers

    Hmmmm I’m not sure on black clubs might be an ocd thing but I do like shiney and clean looking clubs on the black ones you see the wear on them more...........but hey it would be boring if we all liked the same things.

    I wish we could of had that option when I bought my 718 ap2’s.

    Agreed - They look the business and that's a fact...
    As ever with black, you wonder about the longevity of the finish but with these, I'm not sure I would care!
    Think head covers - whether cool or not - would be a wise precaution with these beauties.

    You can certainly get both steel & graphite shaft options - shafts also black! - but not sure if it has been developed any further. The advert pictures show AMT black in stiff. At £185 per bat, you would hope you could get them somewhat bespoke.

    I have the ap2 716 and they would look mint in black. Can justify the upgrade just for the colour though.

    Think they’ll be a popular!!!

    Hi all,

    totally agree would look amazing. Does anyone know if the shaft options are limited to the AMT Black in AP3 and AMT White in AP2.

    When I originally was fitted for my AP3's last year I was either a KBS Tour V our AMT White so if the option was there for AMT White in AP3 then I would be extremely tempted...

    They look truly awesome!! They are described as limited edition - I wonder to what extent they will be available in UK and what the pricing will be relative to regular look 718's.

    I do like them a lot! but chances are you won't be able to customise them like the standard.

    Wonder how hard wearing the black is on the bottom and face of clubs though ?
    Our sand, I mean grit in the bunkers wouldn’t be so friendly ️

    I wonder why they haven’t decided to release a black version of the AP1’s, CB’s, TMB’s and MB’s. Personally I think black MB’s would look absolutely stunning!!
