  2. Were you in Manchester????
Not sure summer in UK&I is that reliable.
I once played The Belfry in June... Got as far as the 7th and it went dark, then darker & the heavens opened... it rained & snowed, and hailstones fell in cascades, to the extent that water poured like a waterfall down the various McKenzie greens. We sheltered/huddled behind umbrellas that seemed totally inadequate for the conditions until the klaxon sounded and we waded back to the clubhouse. It was a flood of biblical proportion, to the extent that we got free tickets to play another day.

South East Ireland TitleistUser......We were like two little ducks out on the course ha ha...Soaked.........I feel your pain there, it sure is hard to know what the Summer will bring weather wise... Had a similar experience in Vilamoura a few years back... We were playing Victoria course and a deluge for 4 hours followed.....Greens flooding , course practically unplayable and really we should have been called in .

We've hardly had any rain all winter, though lets not get too excited about Spring not being far away, the beast from the east is still in my memory.

Well done for getting out there... I don't mind the weather when playing...what I hate is practice in the cold and wet and those that drop out at the slightest hint of bad weather.

Trying to hold the clubs and to even see the ball ( as a wearer of glasses ) is a real pain ...Tried contact lenses a few years back but got serious eye infections .....My Optician tells me now that I should try them again as there are newer more suitable ones for me... Would be a whole new ball game for me ....if you pardon the pun.

Same excuse as my wife uses.. She needs them for distance but says putting has gotten worse since she started wearing them..... Sure there must be something in the Titleist catalogue to help..

A whole weekend of no golf this weekend. Cabin fever has set in!

Was tempted by visiting the range yesterday, but it was absolutely Baltic and the wind was howling.

  19. Still play whatever the weather, its England after all and we have unpredictable weather.

Rain and 20+ mph winds made for interesting playing conditions.
