This is reposted from the Clubhouse forum:
For the past few years a group of Cameron collectors from all over the U.K. have met each summer for a round of golf, to see each other’s collection of putters, covers and bags and to do some trading.
The events have been self-funded and held at Bearwood Lakes, Camberley Heath and other venues and have been great fun and much appreciated.
But they are still a long way short of the events held in the US and Japan. I have been at the US event and it was terrific with Scotty attending and hosting an auction. To get anywhere near that level, we need the support of Titleist. Not with a lot of funding (although we wouldn’t say no) but perhaps some help with publicity and branding.
It also offers a chance for ball, club and shoe fitting as well as putter fitting, obviously, and seems like good value for some decent social media exposure.
Any interest, Titleust UK?
