it is with the deepest regret I crossed over to the dark side at the weekend. I've really been struggling with my 915F since I bought it a couple years back. For me the 3 wood is vital in my bag for certain holes on my course off the tee so I need one that works.

Well on Friday I got a demo of another major brands new 3 wood and was absolutely smoking it, like crazy far, I rarely put drives that distance, anyway, used it again Saturday and didn't strike it so well but today (Sunday) I used it again and it's been bought and the 915F has gone.

In the interests of loyalty I won't name the club nor will it bear it's original head cover, but I have a 917 3 wood head cover I will use to hide my shame.

I'm guilty of being on the darkside as well with a non Titleist driver. However the TS hadn't been released when I was buying and I didn't get on the the previous model. Got to do what's best for your game some times...

The TS2 3 wood is in my opinion the best one that titleist have made. I could never get consistent with Titleist 3 woods until now. Had a calaway Bertha 3 wood which I never thought would be bettered until I got this one.

Declan - You are absolutely correct on the TS2 3 wood.
It is possibly the best Titleist has ever made...Long and forgiving!!!
    I LOVE Mine!!!

  6. Stuart,
They say that confession is good for the soul... If so, you should now feel better, and not just because your new 3-wood is a beast!

PS - Just between us, what did you get??

I'm ashamed to say the new M6. I despise the company, hate their constant sales pitch nonsense but man does this thing fly.
  8. Dear Me, that is the very darkest of the dark side...
I have vowed never to buy any of their stuff ever again (Unless they re-start supplying Liverpool gear - there is a limit to my dislike)
I thought your slip was EPIC, perhaps Cobra, maybe even png... Never thought for a minute it would be TM.
Oh well, as long as you are happy with it.
    JT
PS You could always cover it with a Titleist head cover???

I've tried the TS2, just too shallow for me and doesn't fill me with confidence, great club, I was able to get it out there with one just not consistent though.

It's crazy how many golfers game a full Titleist bag with the exception of the Driver. Hopefully, the TS range will change that
  15. Shoaib,
I agree about the driver, but I'm also wondering why Vokey doesn't bring out a 64* Spin Mill...
I'm pretty good at scrambling - let's face it, I've had enough practice!! - and a 64* is truly a big help.
Oh well, maybe with Spin Mill*...

That's exactly my set up, however TS wasn't released when I bought mine and I just didn't like the previous model

I also love the Titleist brand, have everything Titleist or Footjoy but just can’t find a Scotty Cameron that I feel confident & positive with ( tried them all, diff weights etc but unfortunately nothing compares it beats my Odyssey 1W but it bears the Scotty Cameron headcover for the Titleist look in the bag ïļâ€â™‚ïļïļ #teamtitleist

Nooooo!!! Anything else but TM. Terrible gimmicky company who haven’t made anything half decent since R9’s.

I refuse to even pick up their equipment, let alone use it.

If it was a ‘Call a way’ I could understand.....
  19. Hope Stuart continues to get on with the 3 wood... but they ain't for me.

Tried the TM 5 & 6 drivers today - Both felt like a lump on the end of a broom...
Sounded as if it had gone miles but it hadn't... That'd be all that carbon I suppose - that or the TwistyFace.
Wasn't a patch on the TS's in terms of spin, speed or distance.
No feeling & no feedback from the head - Was it a SLDR with lipstick...

Ordered a TS3 (see new thread) of course!!

Love the honesty but hate Traitormade.
Play what feels good for yourself.
TS2 all day for me, most confidence hitting fairway by miles in my eyes. Used to argue with the fairway wood, not now !

A few years ago, I was persuaded to get an RBZ - it was ‘fitted’ but once in the bag, it was dreadful. Inconsistent, sounded dreadful and it ruined my driving. I vowed then never to get another TM product.
I took a bit of a chance and did a trade-in to get a 913D2 - it is still in my bag now! Finances are tight, so I’ve invested in new irons and wedges as this is just so consistent. Having said that, I’d love the TS I was fitted for...

I may have an update in a couple of weeks when we have a Titleist fitting at our place, things may not be what they seem.
  23. This can't merely be submitting to peer pressure, Stuart...
Interested to hear the end of this saga - As long as it turns out to be a happy ending.

  24. I've just recently upgraded from my 917D2 to the TS3. I'm getting a small gain in distance maybe, I don't really notice it tbh. The feel is better I think, still need to bring it out on the course where the real test is I suppose.

The TS2 fairway though is a bomber.

    Just first reactions.
  25. Whatever makes you play better dude. You can still be TT. At present I've put the 3w aside and playing a HL 3w which is more like a 5w. Find it easier to get better flight, my 915 was too low. Also won wedge's (another brand) in a Captains prize so now using them. Will go back to vokeys more then likely in time. Point been this is what is working for me now. Each to their own
