My Scotty comes in the house after each round and cleaning. My Puttout trainer is in my office and I try and pick up the Scotty each time I enter/leave the room and practice some 2-3 footers until I get a couple of the perfect putts. Weekly I'll work with the full Puttout studio, Trainer, mat, mirror and gates. I'll do the 100 putts from 6ft and then the perfect putt challenge. My best so far is 30 putts. Before each round I work on distance control and like to find a slightly uphill putt with minimal break. At my home course I have a putt of 7 paces and I putt until I'm happy with the pace and then do a couple of long putts to different holes (never two in a row to same target). Then I do a hole out drill of three balls of 2, 4 and 6 paces apart on the same line. I go through my full pre shot routine on these and do this until I hole all three or three times min. Currently averaging just shy of 33 putts a round on all courses played (25 different courses last year 12 never played before) Pet hate is those who thing the putting green in a course and putt from hole to hole (often with several balls) as these get in the way of those actually practicing with some purpose...
