  1. t100s pw is 44 degrees...

What would be your 3 wedge setup and why? Going with SM8's

    I was thinking of gaming:

    48 - full hits & in 54 - 80yards in and around the greens 60 - utility around greens & sand

I'm playing 914 AP2's, bent 2* strong. SM5 wedges, 50*, 54*, 58*, which was the recommendation from the fitter when I fitted into the irons.

I love the 50, full from 95-100 yards. Dime size mark center face. Just seem to hit it so well. 54* for full @ 85-90 and a lot of chipping. I can hit it low from 40-50 yards with good spin to stop. 58* for full @ 70-75, or around greens when I need the loft.

    I’m playing sm7 50 For about 100 yards, 54 70/80 yards, 60 for bunkers / around the greens.
Can’t wait for Titleist to reopen to get fitted for sm8 ️‍♂️
  4. My PW is 46*(718 AP2) and I use SM7's at 50*, 56* & 62*
Love the Brushed Steel finish that seems to frame the ball.
From Hoylake, you should be able to get fitted at an Advanced Fitting Centre locally, ForeGolf Chester, Clarkes in St Helens or even Abergele if the Welsh Authorities will let you travel more than 5 miles into their country.

I too was fitted for T100S irons & SM8 Vokey wedges.

With the 44* PW, I was recommended the 50* & 56* Vokey's plus an option to go for the 60* once I gamed the 13 clubs I bought for a few weeks to see where my gaps were, 3 wood, utility or 60* and I'm thinking of going with the extra wedge, they are amazing.

That’s interesting, I was fitted into 48/54/60. I found the gap in yardage from pw 44-50 was just to great for a full swing club!

My PW is 46* so my wedge set up is 50*, 54* and 58*.
If your PW is 44* I’d be a little flummoxed but would go for a fitting to see what set up suited me best. I like the consistency a 4* gap gives me but with a 44, that would pan out to 48, 52 and 56. I like the additional loft and options the 58 gives and would rather go to 60 rather than to 56.
I’m comfortable with all aspects of my wedges, so as well as loft I’ve got the grinds that suit my game and also the shafts which are different to my irons.
A proper gapping/wedge fitting session will sort you out I’m sure.
  8. I had a wedge fitting and I’ve gone 48/54/60. The gap from 44-50 on a full shot club creates too much yardage gap I found. Having that natural 4 gap then 6 makes total sense for how I use each of the wedges

    Lethbridge,

I was fitted for the T100s and just received them. With them I went with SM8 on a 50.08 bet to 49 degrees, 54.10 and a 58.08. I have found these gaps in the wedges work really well.
  10. we are pretty close then! i'm 48/54/60

T100S set GW at 48*, followed by SM8 54D (bent 1* strong to 53) and SM8 58D. Nice 5 degrees gap, works for me.
  12. I just went 50, 54, 58 as I've played these wedge lofts for a while now and know my yardages and shots with them. Im pretty happy gripping down or easing up on the 44 PW too so would rather that than mess with the wedges for the sake of a degree or 2.
  13. Yeah I went 48,54&60 as my PW is 43 in the 718 AP1's

  14. Here they are SM7's but I'm still loving these!
