  1. Selling Team Titleist bag tags, pitch mark repairers and ball markers on E-bay really does make me grind my teeth.... I appreciate that there are "Collectors" out there who accumulate specific items of "Golfiana" and that they are following their hobby. I also acknowledge that the design of the Team Titleist accessories is brilliant and their scarcity makes them valuable to the collectors and others. However, this week there has been a spate of items; TT bag tag currently selling at £45, pitch repairer for £20 and the silver TT ball marker has an hour left and is currently at £46. If you are an active TT contributor or a Titleist fan, why would you want to sell them? If you received them as a gift from Titleist, are they not worth more to you than the cost of a few balls? I just don't understand.... JT

    They are just bawbags buddy!!
They are not true loyal Titleist die hards like us!!
Makes me sick and angry too!!
I’ve been lucky to receive a few items from Titleist, I use them with pride!!

I even gave away my extra team Titleist ball marker, pitch repairer and tees to a future up coming star junior golfer who I think could go all the way, pushing him towards the Titleist brand ️‍♂️
  3. There probably not there more likely to play totally different brands and couldn't care about the TT stuff but signed up anyway knowing they might get free stuff they could flog on eBay.

This happens all the time but don't forgot some people have double ups of the same items because they go to TT events so I get why they might get rid.

It does annoy me a lot too because there's so many people who don't get anything and would kill for a bit of gear but don't have the money that these items go for on the bay.

Have to agree, some people are just in it to make a coin where others appreciate the good gesture of TT to send to players from the page to keep and feel apart of something.

Actually, TT USA just did a limited release where any TT member in the USA could go on-line and purchase a limited quantity of items. As suspected, many so called TT members are just profiteers that set up an account in hopes of getting their hands on items. They then quickly resale those items on ebay and other sites. Yes, its sad as many loyal members all over the world would love to occasionally get a few TT items. This is exactly why these releases are so infrequent and tend to be done locally within each county. As for how best to handle duplicates... many TT members just quietly send out things to other members or pass them along during events to make sure they get to people that truly care and appreciate the items.
  6. Dale,
Great to hear from you - Think I speak for all on here when I say that we appreciate your input as you give us a different perspective from our own, parochial, UK & Ireland view of the world. Some of us post to Clubhouse from time to time but generally we tend to stick to UK & I.
I had no idea that there were "releases", such a you describe, in the US...
We struggle a bit for TT items over here, despite the best efforts of our TT Team.
This is reflected in the strength of the E-bay market. Unusual Titleist ball markers, said to be from Japan, are regularly making what I'd consider to be high values. There are even some counterfeits - complete with mis-spellings - on offer.
Incidentally, the TT ball marker went for £64 + postage in the end.

I had a business trip last fall to London and added a weekend in St. Andrews. I brought a few goodies along with me hoping to run into some TT brethren. I was ready to hand them off over a pint some evening but couldn't get any takers. Hoping to get a few TT USA members to plan a trip back to Scotland or Ireland, maybe next summer if things settle back down a bit. If we can make it happen, I'm sure we can bring a few items to leave on your side of the pond. Cheers!
  8. You are not alone JT but really there is not a lot that can be done.
