I took the plunge and joined Club Cameron this year, as it apparently offered the opportunity to buy special releases, like limited edition headcovers. I particularly wanted a Halloween issue as it’s my birthday. However, every time I’ve opened the email notifications, anything ‘new’ is already marked as ‘sold’! I even check the store on a regular basis, but have yet to find a limited edition cover available! I’m more than a little disappointed that it seems that availability is actually allocated to the US before elsewhere. Has anyone else experienced this or have you struck lucky and been able to make a purchase?

    Steve.
I have been a member of Club Cameron for years and apart from the recent IT issues they have had, I have no problem being able to get items if I wanted. I haven't actually seen enough items in any of the releases to justify $39 shipping and a 20% plus handling fee to buy anything.
Prime example I only liked the key fob in this weeks release but zero chance I'll pay over £30 to ship it.
You just need to know when a release is going to happen and be online, logged into your account on the Scotty website when the drop happens. If you are not, then forget it everything is gone within 5 minutes and if an item isn't that tells you how bad it actually is in desirability.
Drops happen usually 08:30 L.A. time on a Tuesday of the event a release is for. EG Masters week Tuesday
Its a learning experience but you will get the hang of it.
    Good luck,

    Steve,

its not a case of its all allocated to the US first, all items are available to everyone, everywhere. What does happen though is that exact release times are not published but there is a pattern. When it is likely there will be a release some (most/all?!) CC members are logged in and refreshing the page constantly until the new items show. They usually pop up on the website before the email / tweet etc goes out which means unless you're logged in and refreshing, all items are sold out before you get on the page. Can be frustrating but that's the way it is when there's limited quantities released to high demand unfortunately.

    Hi Steve,
I am not a member this year but in the past it has just been a case of being very quick! They sell out within minutes if not quicker so I always tried to make sure I was online early.

If I remember correctly the releases were available around 4pm, if you wait for the official notification it was usually too late.
