Played yesterday and had to put an old friend back in the bag while I await the delivery of the TSi3. 983 K driver with regular proline shaft, lovely looking, nice to hit but now a little on the short side, classic.

All that good advice about getting fitted and tuning the product to your specs and you go and fall head over heels for a good looker!!

I’ve not even seen the driver in the flesh but I’ve had every Titleist driver since 910 so I kinda know (hope) I got the spec right, just wanted a little cheering up.

Club arrived today but weather too bad to try and play, weekend looks a washout too, club looks fantastic.

Driver arrived and managed full round today, very wet conditions. Different noise and feel, ball seems to explode off the face. Carry distance up from 231 to 247 average, couple managed into 250 range.

I had been leaking badly to the right with TS3 but I hit every fairway with a nice high straight flight with the i. Plan to play again tomorrow and maybe loft down to see if I can get a few more yards.
