    Hi guys

Is it possible to get the lifts altered on my AP2 irons. I’m liking to get a bit more extra length out of them.

    Regards Russell

  2. Russell,
I've just had all my AP2/AP3's checked for loft & lie and bent back to their original specs (at ForeGolf Chester, Titleist Advanced Fitting Partner). It follows that you should be able to adjust if you were of a mind... within reasonable tolerances. Not sure how much further you might want your irons to go??
A Titleist Advanced Fitter would be able to assist you.

  3. Nearest pro shop should have the equipment to lengthen and then re grip your clubs. They should advise what is the best way forward for you too. Free Titleist Fitting days on Thursdays can help and check your clubs. I am pretty sure the Belfry has a fitting centre so should be able to lengthen and change lofts as a further option.

Yes, up to a maximum of +/- 2 degrees noting forged clubs easier to bend though affects bounce angle by same degree.

    Russell,
I had my 916 AP1's built 1 degree strong and 2 degrees flat, after playing a few rounds we changed the lie to 1 degree flat based on my feedback. So you should be able to get them adjusted but as mentioned above bounce will change and I'd question what additional distance gains you would get for a 1 degree stronger loft so I'd get a fitters advice.

    Ant
