Looking for some inspiration please as missing golf badly here in England since the lockdown. I have the usual, driving net and mat that has stayed in the shed due to the weather. I also have a puttout mat that has seen some good use. Just getting a bit bored and wondered what you all are doing with practise?

We are lucky here in Scotland, course are still open albeit my home course has been closed for coming up to 3 weeks firstly with rain and ice and now about a foot of snow in town. Outside of town there are areas where it has drifted and it’s easy to fall down at least to your waist. The sooner it is gone, the better.

When it is OK to get outside, I have been using some home made SuperSpeed sticks. Interested to see what, if any impact it will have, when we are able to get out on the course again.

I’ve bought the one off Facebook from easier golfing. Works well to keep the swing going.

    Simon,

Titleist and TPI YouTube for inspiration on practice and fitness.

Until I know a date for restarting I won't pick up a club (well maybe the Scotty).

Since putting practice is really the only thing that can be done at the moment and it gets boring after a while i have started making it more like adventure golf !!! Have a Puttout matt and have been putting boxes and other stuff under the matt to make crazy slopes and ridges - does add something to it !
  6. Doin' absolutely nothing at the moment....
Will spring out like a greyhound just as soon as Boris tells us we can get out there again.
Would be pleased if the driving range could open soon, as I get the feeling I might need a couple of hundred practice balls in order to groove my faults again!!

  9. Been using my time training and putting. Also in Scotland and so frustrating being aloud to play but weather holding things back. Training wise I've been off and on for years, starting a new program then failing to see it through. Ive been working through the book in the pic since November. Still going strong and stuck with something for the first time ever. Might not be for everyone but helped me out . Ta mick
