  1. Hi Team Titleist

We are running free Virtual Golf Ball Consultations via Zoom over the next couple of weeks.

If you haven’t been through a Golf Ball fitting before, this is a great way to start the Golf ball fitting process. The next step would be to test the recommended model/s against your go-to ball on the course when you can!

Book an appointment and talk to one of our Expert Golf Ball Fitters who will talk through your game and recommend the right Titleist golf ball for your game.

Schedule your Virtual Golf Ball Consultation here:

If you do take part, please share your experience with others on the forum!

    Best

Had one from the states I’m afraid it didn’t compare with a proper one and didn’t have a criteria to work from?
Those of us that use a premium ball understand the slight differences but the best way of finding that is actually hitting them?
Nice idea but needs some work on or set questions maybe online form then a follow up?

    Morning all.

Had mine this morning with Andrew Buttar (@andy_titleist)

Really great chat about the new ball, and the improvements. And that some of the teck they have had in place for 8 years and not released till the whole ball came together as a perfect package.

we looked at what areas I needed to gain in and where to go from here. For me it was a little more green side spin and less spin (into the wind especially) on my long irons.

The info from Andy was first class and the experience of his fittings helped set kind mind at rest that I had researched on line and possibly not come up with the best ball for what I am looking for.

I am Currently using the AVX, and be ready you might get asked if you know what it stands for lol, and from our chat the new Pro V1 may be better suited.

Andy suggested trying the New Pro V1 ball against my current one in a couple of scenarios and try get to a ball fitting as well if possible to back up with flight data.

Great also to hear that I was not the only one who did not get a “white box” delivery. Seems they missed Andy as well. Lol

Andy told me great story of how Cameron Smith got his “White Box” delivery just before Masters and put the ball into play and of course ended up second.

Just go’s to show how trusted Titleist are and the extreme quality and consistency of their products.

Can’t wait to get back out there and try the new Pro V1.

Roll on March 8th (fingers crossed)

Thanks again to Team Titleist for the opportunity and thanks again Andy for your time.

    Ian

Ps did you know that since COVID landed after every day of ball fitting, that every practice ball has to be washed and sorted again. That’s going the extra mile to look after our safety.

I had a online consultation with Joe last Saturday 13th.

I found it really beneficial and he mentioned and made some points about the ball that I had never really thought of before. What particularly stuck was when he said ‘it’s the only thing in your bag you hit every shot’.

He has sent me through a PDF with a ball comparison scorecard so I can take a few different models out on the course when it opens and see which ball I find, feels and suits my game best,

It was a great opportunity to just to ask a few questions and dispel a few myths!

I had mine with Tom a week past Friday. Great to spend time talking Golf Balls with someone really in the know. Appreciate the time and the advice. I am going to give some left dash Pro V1x’s a go but I am thinking that I will almost certainly move over to the 2021 V1x...once I have gotten through my stock of 2019 ones.

    Hi Matt

Just had mine with Andy and would recommend it to everyone. Andy was bery knowledgable about the products and gave me some good advice around the next steps.

If anyone has a spare 1/2 hour this is one of the better ways to spend it.

I had my discussion with Joe this morning and it was a fascinating session. We covered the differences between V1 and V1X, the differences between the last few iterations of both and what they key differences were.
Whilst I’m now a V1X user, with the higher flight being my preference, I will cross check with the V1 to ensure optimum performance. Joe gave me some really useful figures on spin rates and descent angles to look at. As my son is a PGA pro, I have have access to Trackman to check this in addition to on course comparisons.
We also covered aspects of R&D plus some technical details about ball construction, the different elements and how they impact on performance. Some really fascinating details in particular about the cover layer.
I’d highly recommend the sessions to anyone interested in the ball they play and how your choice impacts performance.
