  1. Hi all , some time on my hads just now. Course still closed in Edinburgh due to snow so Ive been looking through all my kit and cleaning and cleaning some more.

I'm always interested to see what peeps are using and why. So here's a list of my gaming sticks and why im using them. Hopfully get some interaction as im just nosy full titleist bag for me with some cool extras.

TS2 10.5, project x 6.0 hand crafted, stiff LZ, japan headcover.

TSi3 Hzrdus smoke black, stiff. Waiting on delivery. Scotty hazard headcover.

Titleist U•500 2 and 4 iron, hzrdus, 90g 6.0, struggled for years with hybrids. Not sure why. These have been the best addition to the bag.

T100 AMT white stiff 5-p. Changed from T-MB irons at the start of last year. Love the T100's love being back in a forged iron.

    Vokey SM8 wedge flex , 50 f8, 54 d12, 58 d12. Embracing bounce. Was wrongly low bounce for years.

M2 Select newport 35 inch custom paint fill. Peace and pars headcover.

Tour bag. 8 years old i think. Hopfilly upgrade this year. Also have a player 4 green paddy's bag and pencil bag.

Pro v 1 balls. Hoping to stock up in march.

Picked up loads of bits and bobs over the years, headcovers, ball markers ect. Firts lockdown cost me a fortune

    Ta for looking, mick

Always loved a good WITB! Here is my current setup with some notes:

Driver: Titleist TSi3, 8 degree with Tensei AV RAW White 75 X-Flex, 45 inches (fitted for this driver at St Ives - felt like a pretty extreme spec but has worked out great at reducing spin whilst remain pretty forgiving)

3 Wood: Titleist TS2, 13.5 degree with Tensei AV RAW White S-flex, 42.5 inches (just prefer a slightly softer shaft in the 3 wood as found it helps me turns it over - slightly shorted as with the driver as just feels more comfortable to control strike, i dont seem to gain speed with longer/light shafts)

Hybrid: TS2 17 Degree with Atmos Tour Spec Blue 8S. - again 1/2 shorter than standard. Always struggled with hybrids but have set this open with a heavier swing weight which has with the lower loft lead to a great flight.

Irons: 4-PW Titleist T100S, KBS Tour V 120 X shafts. Fitted for these at St Ives - always played DG S300's but loved this shaft and gave a great flight. Went with T100S to reduce height and spin rather than for distance. This head shape was a great improvement over AP2 with the reduced offset.

Wedges: SM5 50.8F and 54.10S in black with std DG shaft. Have tried the later models but just feel very comfortable with these. Fancy trying SM8 RAW as my SM5's are beginning to show sign of wear. Lob Wedge is SM6 60.08M in brushed copper - love this club and dont see myself replacing it anytime soon.

Grips: all of the above are fitted with golf pride 360 grips.

Putter: Latest arrival: Scotty Cameron Special Select 1.5 Fastback fitted with Superstroke GT 1.0 grip - never really got on with Scotty Cameron putter as always preferred an insert putter but loved the shape of this one and with moving to a softer ball loved the feel.

Ball: Moved to the Pro V1 (and Tour Soft) from the Pro V1x

Bag: Titleist Stand Band in Black, White and Red from 2016.

Next Purchases: a cart bag and trolley might be need for the summer so save carrying.
  3. Gr8 witb that. Love the low lofts and explanation's too.

I have always struggled with a high ball flight and my driver/ 3 wood spins up a bit to much at times. Ive been booked in for a fitting and check up twice this year but both been cancelled due to restrictions. TT fitting centre near me is just outside my zone and has been in a different restriction level throughout. I was looking forward to it but out with TT and my control.

I also thought about the t100s to but my impatient side kicked in once again. T100 in stock, ok that will do

I was gaming the sm6 wedges previously. Wasnt really interesting in changing untill i tried my mates sm8. That one shot was enough fir me this is why i try not to have a go of other peeps kit. Anyhoo glad i did. Ive been much more consistent since gaming them. Spin is incredible too.
