    Good Afternoon TT.

    So very keen to buy a new Scotty X5 or X5.5 when there released on the 26th March.

    My question is ( Hoping someone from Titleist reads this ) Is there a opportunity to be fitted before the release date depending on Lockdown rules?

    I’m also wondering if the fitting centre in St Ives will have the new line in time to fit golfers in time for the 26th.

    Any information would be much appreciated

    Will heavy versions be sold at retail.

    Based on previous releases St Ives has always had the product prior to the release date but with current speculation that golf course will reopen from 8th March but not sure if that would cover the fitting centre. It will be tight !!! The New 5.5 slant neck does look great !

    Yes I agree the Slant neck draws me to the 5.5 but my normal putting stroke is straight back and though which would ideal mean going for the 5.0 hence I want to get my hands on the both.

    What are you currently gaming at the moment putter wise ?

    Just did a WITB on another thread - but just got a Scotty Special Select 1.5 fastback. I have gamed a TM spider x and Scotty Phantom x6 str but based on my practice so far I am loving the 1.5 - find the shape easy to line up !

    Hi Simon , I bought an X5 as I have straight back straight trough stroke and I love it . So much more accurate on the short less than 6 foot putts!!

    Just on this, the last time I went to the national fitting centre for a Scotty Cameron fitting, it wasn’t really a fitting.
    It was an education as it was called.
    Does titleist now offer an actual fitting with trackman or Sam putt lab or what?

    not sure in all fairness. though i have just found out a new retail golf store is opening in Peterborough which has a custom fit putting area with both so will be finding out some more information on this over the wkd.

    AF GOLF STORE - Peterborough , Cambridge and a few other locations.

    I ordered the 5.5 on 6th March, thought it was going to arrive this week as per confirmation, but now told 30th June!!!
    Anyone else have this problem?

    Wow! That’s like 2 months after it’s released?

    Was that information from your retailer or Titleist ?

    I also ordered a 5.5 custom putter in March, currently on my third order delayed notice.
    Putter is now not expected to be delivered until August 20th.

    So it arrived! Roll on getting it on the putting green.

    Also arrived this week was a new fairway wood, TSi 2 16.5 3 wood.

    Both been fantastic additions to the bag. 3 wood is like a rocket of the fairway and the putter is hot. The feel of both clubs are great.
